About T & M Automotive Services

T & M Automotive Services is an auto repair shop in Erie, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 1306 E 12th St, Erie, PA 16503, which places it among the local businesses of Erie that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Erie, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Pennsylvania vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach T & M Automotive Services at (814) 459-6717; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 109 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Erie and suggests consistent service.

Erie is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Erie is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Amazing service!! I had the head gasket blow on my RAV4 (a pretty major job) and checked with four different places in Erie. Two shops refused to do a job that big and a third had me scheduled out a month and a half. T&M got me in within a week! After diagnosing the root issue, T&M ended up replacing my engine at a very reasonable price. Mark is overflowing with knowledge and experience. These are the guys you want working on your car! Cannot recommend enough!!

I just went to T&M Auto for the first time with my 2018 Tacoma for inspection, oil change, and replace a blown tire. I decided to go to them after feeling like I’ve been getting gouged at the Toyota dealership the past few years. They did the inspection, they did the oil change, they recommended new tires which they took care of for me and they got me out of there at a good price. He said my rear brakes are still technically in spec for inspection and I can prob wait until winter to revisit the maintenance. They didn’t upsell me on any nonsense, they didn’t find a bunch of things to ‘fix’ that cost a bunch of money without actually improving safety or performance. The guy working the desk hammed it up with me after I picked up the car after 5pm on a Friday telling car stories. They loaned me this sweet old beater Camry that I enjoyed whipping around town. They are a little informal compared to the glam of the dealership or big shops but I’ll be going back in the future. I think the shop overall has a strong background in Toyota/japanese cars but they work on everything it looks like.

The only place Ill ever go to and all my children as well. We used to go to Harrell Automotive and paid thousands and thousands of dollars over and over on our vehicles, then a friend told me about this place T&M Automotive, they fixed my daughters car in under 400$ when Harrell Automotive told us it would cost over 5k 2 years ago so the car sat until now. If you are elderly a female, have younger teen drivers or just don't understand mechanics of a vehicle your best bet is to fine T&M Automotive! They have the most knowledge and done try to push to do unnecessary work beyond what you ask them about and always try to help you save on cost every single way they can. Trustworthy, reliable professional Master mechanics in this shop, you wont ever be disappointed!!

Found this garage on Reddit specializing in Toyotas! They were great to work with saved me tons of money. On garage quoted me over double of what they charged me and it wasn't even the correct diagnosis so it wouldn't have even fixed it! We will be back! Thank you so much T and M automotive!! Great work and honest!!

When I couldn’t find a garage on Black Friday to rescue my plow truck, T & M really came through with flying colors! I waited while they repaired my Silverado and had the opportunity to see find many many examples of happy clients, professional/courteous service, and excellent work. In the end, the final invoice was fair and honest. I will be back for sure.
